Thank you all so much for putting the Fallen Rainbow on the top twenty, I am thrilled.
As you have seen what David's feet and my umbrella look like in the rainy day puddle, I thought today I would show you what the rest of David looks like in the sunshine.
He isn't really shady, he is quite nice to be honest and he works well under instruction. He is always a willing subject for my photo ideas.
Terrific shadow of a fine subject. You'll be interested to know that when @julzmaioro and I went for a day out last week, a rainbow umbrella was on the list of 'needs' to use for a photography prop….Found a lovely umbrella, totally inspired by your wonderful image!
@dide Thanks Dianne. A rainbow umbrella is an essential prop and I have used it a few times in my 365 pics over the last couple of years. Look forward to seeing what you come up with using the umbrella. It also comes in handy for keeping the camera dry on wet days too.
Sorry for the group reply again, but the last couple of weeks have been so hectic that I have finally got 2 days at home with nothing officially planned. We have been busy though chopping logs for our wood burner and today I have been catching up on some batch cooking. Having lost all the food in the freezer during our recent cyclone I am now cooking meals to freeze again.
