I have had a rather lazy day today because I wasn't feeling too good. I've had a splitting headache and a bad cold, but tonight we went up to Gan Gan to have a look at the sunset.
Feel a lot better now I have had some fresh air and my headache has cleared a bit.
I have been a bit slack at commenting on photos the last couple of days, but will catch up now I am feeling a bit better.
This is beautiful Babs. Last day of summer for is and we're still waiting for it to arrive! Apart from the occasional few sunny days it has been mostly grey and overcast. Fav
What a beautiful sunset and superb composition with the bay and dark silhouettes in the foreground. Hope you soon feel better, sounds like you have a little way to go yet with the fracture too.
Sorry you are a wee bit under the weather Babs......you have been through a lot lately so take care! I am a wee bit under the weather too today but it's self inflicted from last night! Too much wine & I know I shouldn't drink it as it doesn't agree with me these days......the glass kept getting mysteriously filled up somehow!
@beryl Thanks Beryl. I don't usually get colds or flu so I probably picked this cold up because I have spent so much time at hospitals or medical centres lately. They are full of sick people, ha ha.
@thistle Thanks Joyce. How sad that at the end of summer you are still waiting for it to arrive. That reminds me of why we came to Australia. We went back to the UK after a three year tour in Cyprus with the RAF and it was a bit of a shock to the system. We left again as soon as we could.
@jennywren Thanks Jen. The fracture is going well. I have a splint now, so am much more mobile. Still can't lift anything with my left arm for another 4 weeks, but I can type again and cope with most things one handed.
@happypat Oh dear, self inflicted's are the worst kind of under the weather feelings. Hope you recovered quickly. I can't drink much these days either. I am usually the one who drives home. Well until I fractured my wrist anyway.
