After our U3A breakfast yesterday in Nelson Bay, we went for a walk along the waterfront and marina. I spotted this boat bring brought in for an overhaul. It was really interesting watching it being loaded onto the sling and brought in to the boatyard.
A message for Annie here, @annied I will start posting my rock pool photos on Saturday. Friday people day tomorrow and then I may get chance to go through the rock pool photos tomorrow.
We have got a lot going in here at the moment, so I may get a bit behind with commenting and replying to comments. Hopefully things will quieten down soon.
@jeneurell@sioux@dide@shirleybankfarm I guess they did breathe a sigh of relief when it was in the boatyard.
You can see them still on the boat here if you look closely. They got off when it was moved to the wharf. They sat very still while this process was going on. You wouldn't want to tip the scales, ha ha.
You never quieten down Babs!! Always on the go even with broken arm! Good thing too, keep on moving that's the answer! Quite complex machinery to load these boats......must cost a bob or two to keep the boats sea worthy!
@happypat Thanks Pat, you are right, it takes a lot to slow me down.
It is definitely an expensive hobby. Some of the boats in this marina are huge and the cost of just buying the boat would make your eyes water.

I was surprised that the owners of this boat stayed on while it was being moved.
