Love your framing and symmetry. Beautiful view. And how lovely to have some sunshine and warmth, though you do seem to be having too much of a good thing. We could do with just a little of it over here in the UK.
We are bracing ourself for the heat in Australia when we come out in two weeks time! Just bought the sun cream! This makes me excited to be coming over, we've had nothing but grey days here.......
Well all I could think of was so glad you were inside in the shade taking this photo! Too hot to be on the beach although some brave souls still out there! Stunning unspoilt place & makes me think of NZ beaches....just less than five weeks for us....I have just bought my sun cream too @jackie8
@maree_sanderson Thanks Maree, not cool in the pavilion though it is just sheltered, although a lovely breeze blows through it. Just what is needed on hot days.
@chrysanthemum Thanks Christine, it was a lovely day and even though it was quite hot it was lovely walking around taking photos. You learn to walk in the shade in Australia.
@bella_ss Thanks Sheralee, laying in the sun is the last thing I would be doing either. We walked around town taking photos and I ended up with a rather red face and that was mostly walking in the shade, but God knows what these people must look like.
@jackie8 Where will you be visiting in Australia Jackie? Late January and February are pretty humid in NSW hope you can deal with that. Wear sunblock even on cloudy days, our sun can be very fierce.
@happypat Thanks Pat. We are used to the heat, so it wasn't too bad. We walk in the shade ha ha. I don't understand people sitting on a beach though, not for me at all.
It should be cooler when you arrive in Melbourne though. When will you be here? Pack for all weathers though. When we were posted to Melbourne they said "Don't worry if you don't like the weather, it changes in four hours anyway" and that is true. It can be 36 degrees one minute and then a cool change will go through and it can go down to 14 degrees 15 minutes later.
@golftragic Thanks Marnie, I believe it got up to 38 degrees, but we walked in the shade.
I don't get how people can sit on a beach for hours on end. Rachel said that Queenslanders don't sit on beaches.
I would imagine that most of the people here are local Novocastrians as this beach is a city beach rather than a tourist one.
@onewing Must admit I was never one for spending hours cooking in the sun. Knowing what we now know, you'd have to be an idiot to lie around in full sun for ages. Skin cancer respects nobody.
Beautiful point of view, framing and depth of field, another Fav Babs, reminds me of the holiday saying " wish you were here" I could just cope with being there with you both right now:)
