At the moment I have got so many projects on the go and not enough time to fit everything in, so for the next few weeks I am going to have to limit the time I spend taking photos and concentrate on other things.
Unfortunately, something has to give and between the projects I have in mind and our rather hectic social life too, I can't keep up.
I will still be taking photos occasionally and still be posting on 365 and commenting on photos, but over the next couple of months I will be posting the photos taken on our recent trip to New Zealand.
I have sorted through the hundreds of photos taken on our cruise, deleted some and saved others. Here are the ones I would like to share with you over the next few weeks. Hope you enjoy them.
Hopefully by the time I get to the end of showing my New Zealand photos, some of the other things on my list of 'things to do' will have been crossed off and I will be able to catch up with myself again.
As you know, at the end of last year I posted some of my New Zealand photos, one for each day they were taken and now I am going to tell the story of the journey again.
This first photo was taken at Milford Sound, our first destination in New Zealand. This photo was taken just as the sun was rising and it was a pretty chilly morning. I just loved the sun's rays as they began to appear over the mountains.
Beautiful shot, the Rays look amazing. A big fave. Life does get a bit hectic, I have no problem posting old shots :) I really got me through the year.
I will look forward to your NZ photos Babs, we are there in Frbruary, after touring Australia for two weeks. You are such a busy lady and always rushing around, sometimes we just need to step back and take stock, and that's totally ok. Just do what you gotta do.
Beautiful shot. Really looking forward to seeing NZ as we won't be there for a while. Gillian and co are coming this way instead. I clung to a chrome pipe in the ship we were on in Milford sound as it was attached at the other end to a fire! I was warm the whole time wrapped around it!
Ooh I would so love to see this place. We had been planning on visiting on our trip to S. Island but we have worked out our itinery & can only spare ten days getting to visiting& getting back to N.Island. I very much doubt we will have time to go. It will have to wait! Love the light inthis place. A tip Babs we don't expect our comments to be answered every time, you are excellent at that but there isn't always the time. I do now & again but it's impossible to keep up. Be kind to yourself, we mustn't let 365 become a chore.
@jackie8 Look forward to your Australia and New Zealand photos too. I did show some of my NZ photos when we got home and you can see them from the 8th Dec to 21st Dec. These are just the follow ons.
@onewing You are a busy lady, I am starting another photo book - south coast of VIC. I dont post every day for a few months now as this project is very time consuming.
Unbelievable!!! (in a good way, of course). This is such perfect timing and creates a fabulous instant-fav type of image. We were there several years ago, before I knew what I was doing with my camera. My photos are like documents of the place and evoke nothing of the majesty, as yours have. WOW!
Almost finished my first project which I have got on the go and that is a photo book of my 2015 365 photos. Also decorating the house too, so that is a huge project.
