The Cheaper Version by onewing

The Cheaper Version

Yesterday I posted a photo of a scarecrow that cost around $400.

Today here is the cheaper version of a scarecrow taken at Tocal Homestead a couple of weeks ago.

The funny thing about this photo is that this scarecrow is the absolute double for one of the members at our photo club. Not that he wears scruffy clothes, but his face is a dead ringer.

I will have to take a photo of him next time we have photo club and post it on here to see if you think the same as I do.
I like the cheap one better!

Great shot Babs. It's great to see the two different types. The "more expense one" scared me away. LOL

Now that's what I call a great scarecrow! It would be interesting to see a picture of the photo club member to be able to compare.

@karlow75 I did let Davo know Kane. I emailed this picture to him and said 'Guess who'.
May 29th, 2016
@golftragic I did email this photo to Davo and asked him if this was his weekend job. Not had a reply yet, so maybe he is still working. ha ha.

Perhaps your club friend has a second job. Don't Australian scarecrows wear sun glasses?
May 29th, 2016
This one has a lot of character! Can't wait to see the look-alike...

This is great Babs. Made me smile, and I'm sure Davo is smiling too. The shovel is a nice touch too. I'm finally getting back to commenting after extended time away from the computer. Lots to catch up on!

@helenhall Yes this is a much nicer scarecrow isn't it.

@paulmann I emailed him this picture and suggested that. No Aussie's don't usually wear sunnies, just big hats.
