After a beautiful start to Spring yesterday, today has been very grey and wet, so apart from going out to do grocery shopping this morning, I have had a lazy day at home.
Our walk yesterday was called the 'wildflower walk' and we walked through the bushland at Fingal Bay.
I very rarely take photos of flowers, as you well know, but I thought I would try and photograph some of the wildflowers on our walk and put them in a collage.
I am not very good at identifying flowers so can't help you with the names of most of these.
The centre one is a Gymea lily and the bottom centre is a flannel flower, but apart from those I am at a loss to know what they are called. Some people on the walk identified them, but I have forgotten the names now.
Thanks to everyone for your lovely well wishes for David's speedy recovery. He is very slowly recovering and hopefully once the medication takes hold he will be feeling much better.
Nice collage - it seems strange when you are talking about spring and we are getting ready for autumn! Makes for a good range of photos on 365 tho 😊
A beautiful collection Babs, bottom centre is a Flannel Flower I think. I am off on a wildflower walk with our local Wildflower Symposium next weekend hopefully lots of pics :)
what a stunning collection Babs. When I was a child we used to call the one in the middle on the right hand side "eggs and bacon". At that time people used to pick the wild flowers and one of my aunties stuck lots of them into a book for me but I still ont know may of the names.
It takes me all my time to do 3 hours by car and that travel would certainly put me in a place where I do not want to be - ever again!
