A New Year Begins

After the heat of the last few days, the new year has begun with cooler weather and hazy skies, but with the cooler weather has come humidity of 86%. We have had a very lazy day today.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my photos over the last couple of days. I have been checking out your photos today and not had time yet to reply to the comments you made on my shots.

@annied Went for a walk this afternoon and my specs kept steaming up with the humidity. Raining this evening now too. Much needed rain though.

@gigiflower Such a contrast to here Sam. We have had 40 degree heat for a couple of days and now it has cooled down the humidity is the killer. Raining tonight too. Hasn't rained for ages.

A friend of ours passed away on Christmas Eve and we will be attending a memorial service for him tomorrow afternoon. Also my good friend Ann passed away in the early hours of this morning and we will be attending her funeral too in a few days time. Not a good start to the year. I will try and catch up when I can, but may be a bit sporadic for the next few days.
