Lenticular Cloud?

I took this photo late yesterday afternoon before the rain came and when the humidity was really high. I think it is a lenticular cloud hovering over the Yacaaba Headland, but no doubt Sally @hermann will be able to identify it correctly for me.

We are not having a very good start to the year. A friend and fellow photographer passed away on Christmas Eve and we will be attending a memorial service for him tomorrow. Also my friend Ann passed away in the early hours of this morning and we will be attending her funeral in a few days time too.

I may be absent for a few days as I am feeling rather flat at the moment, but will bounce back soon and try and catch up when I can.

Sorry Babs that you have lost two friends. The photo is lovely - I'm not sure of the name of the cloud either, but would also call it a lenticular one. We sailed in though those heads many years ago in awful conditions and arrived in Port Stephens totally soaked and salt encrusted.
