@onewing Oh Babs, this turn of events is not good. What a terrible result for John - hope his surgery goes well for him. And keep an eye on David, lucky you made a good diagnosis and got him off to the Dr. Take good care of yourself xxxxx
@gigiflower There is nothing like waving a doctor in front of David to get him to feel better, so it was under sufferance that I got him to the doc in the first place. I have the technique of persuasion. I just threatened him with a fate worse than death if he didn't go. ha ha.
David has had pain in his left leg for the last few days and I finally convinced him to go to the doctors this morning because I said it sounds as though he has a deep vein thrombosis. Indeed my diagnosis turned out to be right and after a day of medical appointments, ultrasounds, blood tests etc he is now on medication. you never know how quickly your life can change sometimes do you.
Elizabeth, John's wife came here for dinner last night and I took her home afterwards to stay with her until J&E's daughter arrived from Hornsby.
