It is a busy day here today and this is a quick turn around, just enough time to have a quick cuppa and post today's photo and then we are off again.
Today is the first day of this years season of live theatre in Newcastle and we had a light lunch with friends and then to the matinee performance of the play I Ought to be in Pictures at the amateur theatre in Lambton. Absolutely brilliant performance. We have all just got back to our house for a quick cuppa and then we are off out for dinner at Fingal Bay. I will catch up later this evening.
I took this photo a couple of days ago when there were clouds in the sky. It was still a very hot day, but I thought I would try and make it look cooler by turning it into a black and white photo.
In the picture are mangroves and oyster beds at low tide in Salamander Bay.
Terrific shot Babs. There's a real feel of desolation here. I think the lone tree, those moody clouds and your processing have really captured the mood well here. Fav for me 😊
You're never still Babs..good for you! I must say this works so well in b/w cooling the photo down nicely but we are liking hot, it's far too cold here for black & white ha ha! Love the lone tree& the wooden poles sticking up.

Yes it is still hot, but not too drastic. I think it is around 32 degrees c today. Not quite up to the 40 plus temperatures they have had in some parts of the country.
