Thanks so much for putting Scraggy on the PP yesterday. In this shot his feathers have dried slightly and I think he looks like a Gremlin now.
Today his feathers are looking much better and I think after a few more hose pipe showers he should look very smart.
I wasn't able to sprinkle the hose on him today because David is putting together a pergola and electrical tools and water don't mix do they. I don't want to electrocute poor Scraggy now that he is looking better.
I fed him raw mince this morning and he has been sitting on the back of one of our garden chairs watching David all afternoon.
He certainly has adopted you for all the meals , homely comfort and companionship you give him -- such an endearing story of this comical looking bird ! May the friendship continue ! fav
@maggiemae he is very friendly. We have a butcher bird that sits on your hand while you feed him mince and this kookaburra thought he would try that yesterday too, gave both me and the butcher bird quite a fright.
Really wonderful, detailed image. Love him and all his beautiful colors and patterns. And to think he will let you give him a shower!! Amazing! Big Fav!

@hermann No, he doesn't, he is very well behaved.
@pcoulson He gives the other kookaburras a run for their money and always wants to be fed first.
