I am posting a bit early today. I think I need a quiet night tonight.
This morning I was at a friend's house, she has just had surgery on her leg to remove a cancer and the wound has got infected. Also there was another friend who's son passed away suddenly last week, so it was a bit of an emotional morning. If all this isn't sad enough, while I was there another friend and neighbour called to let us know that her father has passed away last night in a local nursing home. A very sad day all round.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments yesterday on my sand bubbler crab pellets photo. Here is another pattern made by the crabs. I think this one looks like a butterfly. They are very clever creatures aren't they.
If you look closely at the centre of the photo you can just see the crab returning to its hole after feeding. It is right next to a small piece of seaweed.

Wow they are very creative... what a sad time you are going through ... these things seem to come in batches ... hope things look up for you ... Go for a walk with your camera ... it is great thearpy..

@onewing Gosh, no wonder that sparked memories for you. Glad you could be there for your friend. People who actually understand are hard to find in my experience of loss, so itâs the re-stirring of your own pain but a positive thing to be able to empathise do deeply. My love and kindest thoughts to you and your friend.

Fabulous detail. Loved reading about them. So sorry you had such an emotional and harrowing day. Thoughts to all those involved. Life can be so cruel at times.
