Here is the last collage from the Step Back in Time Festival.
You can't have a festival without Morris dancers and this group were fabulous. They performed in 30 minute stints over a three hour time period. I was exhausted just watching them.
Ah, you can't beat Morris Dancers for colour and being completely bonkers! I had an aunt and uncle who respectively played fiddle and danced with a troupe here...........it was only years after I discovered they weren't related to me, but in those days everyone was "auntie!"
@casablanca I always used to have lots of 'aunties' too when I was little. Everyone was called either auntie or uncle in the 'olden days' weren't they.
@suzanne234 Ha ha, the two at the bottom left do look a bit glum don't they. The chap with the grey beard looked grumpy all the time so I couldn't get a better picture of him.
@chimfa I think Debbie would agree with your Mum. She had a nightmare about Morris dancers when she was little and has hated them ever since.
