Steampunk Festival - Day 2

For seven days I am posting photos taken at the Victoriana Steampunk Festival in Goulburn, hope you enjoy them.

The outfits they wore were so creative. In the cage over this chaps shoulder was a giant metal cicada. There was a key on the back of the cage and he said the box was to trap cicadas. I think it must have worked, because the cicada in the box didn't look too happy.

It seems to me that some highly creative people really enjoy this genre and in turn we get to enjoy their creativity! I love how they blend old and new and all those textures of leather, metal, and fabric in their costumes. Of course the accessories are just as interesting! Good shot!
