No photos today because I have been to the cinema with two friends of mine to see Bohemian Rhapsody. It was absolutely brilliant.
This photo was taken last Thursday while I was out with our walking group at Raymond Terrace.
The jacarandas are flowering at the moment but this one seems to be struggling a bit, I think it is just beginning to flower. I thought it looked quite nice though along the embankment of the Hunter River.
I hoping to go to Bohemian Rhapsody in the weekend .. have only heard of good reports about it .. Hadn't picked it as a Jacaranda .. lets hope it get some TLC and has good colour in years to come..
Fabulous sight to see Jacarandas are so beautiful, great image babs, as a fan of Queen back in the day, I was not sure if to see this film, no one has come close to sounding like Freddie and the historical facts have been well stretched in the film:)
You're the second person who has told me that is brilliant - must get to see it. Jacarandas are wonderful trees. I don't think I have ever seen them in real life, only in photos.
It does look lovely all by itself on the banks of the Hunter river. I haven’t been to the cinema fir ages, we used to go every week, hope fully next year we can get going again. That film sounds worth going to.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond you couldn't have thought the movie was too bad if you stayed till the very, very end of the music.
@pcoulson Have you seen the movie Peter? If not, do go, it was brilliant.
@casablanca I love jacarandas, we used to get them in Cyprus too and the plantation road into Limassol looked lovely in springtime with miles of jacaranda trees flowering, it was like driving through a purple tunnel. Hope you enjoy the movie, I thought it was brilliant and all the cast were matched so well.
@quietpurplehaze Pity they don't grow in the UK I could imagine a few growing in your garden. We have one in our garden too.
@happypat It is worth going to Pat, I really enjoyed it. I could even go and see it again. Don't say that too often.
So pretty. There was a photo of a jacaranda tree in our newspaper today in a story about colorful trees. I was pleased I already knew about it from 365.
Lovely photo too!!
@julzmaioro TGhanks Julia, hope you enjoy the movie. I think they matched up all the cast very well.
I think this jacaranda is a bit late flowering.

For those who sat the movie glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was brilliant, but then I love Queen anyway and they matched the cast up so well.
