Love and Desire Exhibition - National Gallery of Australia - Canberra

I'm back from my travels now and I will be posting photos of some of the places we visited while we were in Canberra.

This photo is at the entrance of the Love and Desire Exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra. It was a fabulous exhibition and this picture is of The Lady of Shalott by John William Waterhouse.

Ohhh....one of my faves.......we have several Waterhouse prints around our house. We were in the Tate just before Xmas and were looking for her.....she has obviously gone on her hols !!!

@cutekitty One of my favs too. I think she is melting in Canberra, it was around 36 degrees c each day while we were there. Luckily the National Gallery is air conditioned. My other fav of John Waterhouse was Circe Invidiosa. I could see that on the wall of your house too.
