I saw a really interesting bookcase in a café and gift shop recently and here are some of the side panels on the bookcase. I just loved the abstract patterns and colours.

The wood looks like it is oak and I would prefer it without those colourful paintings (or stickers) and with just some varnish to show the wood veins. But still, the patches create a lovely scene. Well spotted.

I love patterns and thought this would look nice in a collage. I did get strange looks from people in the café because they didn't seem to realize what I was taking photos of. I am used to looks like that though and I never explain.

@angelar No Angela not tempted by the rainbow theme. I would find it impossible to commit to a whole month of any theme, a couple of days are my limit.

@peterday No I didn't buy it I just liked the patterns. We don't have any room for more bookcases in our house we have about 25 bookcases now. Rapidly running out of walls to put them on. I just love books. You name a subject and we have probably got a book on it.
