Grey Skies

I am having a break from the Tocal photos and posting this shot taken yesterday on our day out with the walking group.

As you can see the sky was pretty grey, but luckily the rain held off, but we could see rain falling from the clouds out over the ocean.

It was a really interesting walk along the coast. We walked around the headland, over the rocky paths and along the beach.

We had a delicious lunch at The Tavern too, so all in all a fabulous day with good friends.

Sorry I have been a bit absent the last few days, pretty busy, but will try and catch up this evening.

@beryl We were so lucky with the weather. It does look rather bleak, but it wasn't too cold and the rain stayed over the ocean.

@ludwigsdiana It is so long since we last had rain that a few days of wet weather was very welcome. Hope the rain stops for your holiday.

On our home side of the peninsula we have the calm water in the sheltered bay and on this side we see the full force of the ocean. Best of both worlds. I just love being near the sea whatever the weather. We were very lucky this day because the rain held off and only fell over the ocean.
