I am posting a bit early today because I have had a busy day so far. Keep fit class this morning, then grocery shopping, dropped in at a friend's house on my way home for lunch and now I am just off to get my hair cut.
For the next few days I am posting the latest street art in Newcastle. Several of the telephone distribution boxes have been painted by local artist Rebecca Murray and are known locally as Pillar People.
So far you have seen four pillar people, three pillar people and today we are down to two pillar people.
Both these pillar people are outside the new law court in Newcastle. The left one is Joy Cummings, our former mayor of Newcastle and our first lady mayor. Next to her is the judge, he is rather sombre and looks as though he has just nodded off.
Great fun and colourful pillar people - your Mayoress looks so cheerful and happy ! while the judge with that priceless expression as if he should go back to bed !
Ian
I agree the judge is priceless. I hope the current judge doesn't look like this.
@dide I do struggle to keep up with myself sometimes Dianne. I discovered a while ago that it is hard work being retired.
