More Smoke by onewing

More Smoke

Thanks for your comments on my smoke photos. Luckily the actual fires aren't too close to us, but the smoke has blown both up and down the coast to where we are.

I took this photo at 8 am today but luckily the smoke has cleared again now.

If you can see the bushland in the distance, our house is somewhere in there. I will have to go back and take another photo on a clear day to show the difference.
Wonderful capture especially considering the circumstances

A nicely composed and effective shot, taken in difficult conditions. Such a shame we can't send you some of our rain to help end the fires - we have heavy rain again today.

Still so smoky. I don't think I would be out there doing sporty things and breathing it in somehow!
November 14th, 2019

November 14th, 2019

That is a super image Babs - unfortunately it's so representative of the true conditions across multiple areas of the East Coast. It is so very depressing.

November 15th, 2019
Wow! You've shown me something I've only heard about. You are intrepid for sure!
November 15th, 2019
Wow- I would think with that much smoke in the air that it would not be a good idea to be out on the water in a kayak. Not good for the lungs- especially when you're exerting them!

So awful for everyone. It's been on the BBC news every day for ages.
