Varied Eggfly Butterfly

It has been another very hot and smoky day here and still no sign of rain.

We have been out at the cinema this afternoon with friends to see the movie Knives Out. It was lovely to sit in the cool of the cinema for a couple of hours, but the heat hit us as soon as we left the building.

This is the last of my butterfly photos. I believe this is a varied eggfly butterfly according to the identification board at the butterfly house and I had a terrible job chasing it around trying to capture this photo.
