We have been out today at our U3A Christmas lunch. It is so nice to be able to go out again with a large group of people as restrictions eased since lockdown.
After a few days of temperatures around 39 and 40 degrees c we had a terrific storm last night and the temperature has now dropped to about 21 degrees c. It is quite chilly.
We had lunch at the Saltwater restaurant that overlooks Fingal beach, so while I was there I wandered to the beach and took this panorama.
As you can see there aren't many people on the beach today and if you look closely you will see the red and yellow flags and also the black and white flags that were in yesterdays shot.
The lifeguards are on duty but I think they will have a quiet day today.
I would love to do this but mine never seem to come out looking like this...looks like a beautiful desert island! Love your beach...lovely pale golden sand.
I like how this pano makes it all look so circular...what is the yellow on the beach...looks like a crocodile!
Oh, to think of open restaurants and meeting groups of people...I think we live on different planets!
@olivetreeann I don't think I would like to encounter a bug this size haha.
@taffy We haven't had any new Covid cases in New South Wales in the last 28 days until today when a worker at a hotel quarantine facility in Sydney tested positive. Hope we don't have to go back into lockdown.
I have been reading how drastic things are in the US at the moment. Sounds as though it is beyond repair now. Hope you stay safe. Pity your leader only wants to play golf and spend millions on court cases at the moment. Hope things improve next year.
@kjarn Lovely to have a cool day today after such heat and humidity. I am actually feeling quite chilly tonight, ha ha.

@johnfalconer You will have to visit again one day.
@terryliv Too busy watching to take photos.
@happypat This panorama was one in camera with my little Lumix.
@granagringa The yellow on the beach is the surf board with lifeguard markings to let people know that a lifeguard is on duty.
You can see it clearer in this picture. http://365project.org/onewing/365/2020-12-01
