I haven't got much time for photos at the moment, so this morning I had a wander around the garden taking photos of some of our flowers. I am going to put some of them in a collage for tomorrow, but I quite liked this close up and decided to post this on its own.
I think it is a lilium but not sure and David isn't here at the moment to ask. Maybe someone can help me identify it if I am wrong.
I had a physio appointment this afternoon and my neck and shoulder are feeling much better now. Luckily I got home before the rain came down.
Northern New South Wales and southern Queensland have had torrential rain and floods the last few days and I think their rain has now moved south. I don't think it will be as bad as it has been further north but it is bucketing down at the moment. We desperately needed the rain so I am not complaining and I am sure the garden will appreciate it.
Beautiful flower and a superb clear shot of it. To me it looks a lilium, too. Are you going to collect the seeds to sow next year? I do that very often.
Some sort of lily thing, for sure! (Technical term) Very pretty though I had to check it was your page. More flowers this year than ever! You're mellowing in your old age LOL
@casablanca I have a lot going on at the moment so little time for taking photos. I am having to do some playing in Photoshop and also taking photos at home. More flowers to come tomorrow, shock ahoy. Thought I'd better warn you. I will start medication again next year, ha ha.
We did get rain today but not a lot
such a vivid and strong capture!
