Love black cockatoos, we have the yellow tailed variety in our area, they have such an interesting call, so different to the white cockatoo:-)

@annied @munkoyey @sunraye @elaine55 @hermann @artistico @derekvickers @cljs @joeyc @lafish Sorry for the group reply again, but got a busy day today. Need to keep active today a bit of a sad day.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments. Note for Sally, we get the yellow tail black cockatoos here too and they rip shreds off the trees.

@annied Thanks Annie, everything is fine. Can't go back there again. Don't know how much you know, but can't change anything. Thanks for your kind thoughts though.
Our youngest grandson started school today, so it is has been a happy day for Archie rather than a sad day for Zoe. Think positive.

@onewing I always think positive - it is the only way I know

Wonderful shot of the cockie Babs, even better that it's well away from your garden! The sulphur-cresteds made our lives a misery until we removed our walnut tree.

@golftragic We saw three yellow tail black cockatoo's in Shoal Bay a couple of days ago and they had massacred the tree there. Cones from the tree were scattered all over the ground.

@onewing Running true to form! When I lived in the bush, the cockies used to swing around our phone line where it ran over the river, thus stripping all the insulation and rendering the line useless - again!!!
