@beryl@beryl@onlyme111@hermann@pcoulson@wanabe@dolphin@888rachel@darthkitty@creampuff@happypat@kathiecb@paulaw@lafish Thank you all so much. I will try and answer some of the questions here. It is quite a long footbridge but I think the angle makes it look longer than it really is. Yes Pat it does bounce when you walk on it. It bounces quite a bit actually! wouldn't like to be on it in a strong wind.
Kathy at the end of it there is nothing really exciting, just the other side of the village and farm land. Paula, not sure what I do with the leading lines bit, I just point the camera down the centre and hope for the best. No technical stuff here. ha ha.
As a bit of interest, just after I took this shot a red bellied black snake slithered across the bridge and into the bushes. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of that because I had just put my camera away as we were going home. Tend to keep it in my hand now until I am actually home as you never know what you will get a picture of.
I'll try your 'point down the middle and hope for the best' tip next time I come across an appropriate subject (assuming I realise it's an appropriate subject!!!)
this is an amazing capture! Love the comp and the b&w. Did you walk across it? I find it difficult ... my balance is not as good as it used to be on those suspension bridges.
