Milk Bar by onewing

Milk Bar

Today's Tea Gardens photo is of a rather colourful milk bar. I just loved the colours.

Not only is it colourful, they make an excellent cup of tea and delicious cakes and pastries too.

And I love getting burgers etc from these little stores. Bloody MacDonalds have a lot to answer for putting so many of these great little hamburger stores out of business

So you went to an ice cream store and had tea? Bet you'd order vanilla if they had 57 flavours. LOL

@happypat It does take a bit of getting used to. When we first came here many many years ago I went in a shoe shop for a pair of trainers. The girl looked at me as though I was mad. They call them runners here. Trainers are training wheels on a kids bicycle.
Ice lollies are icy poles too here.

@kathiecb I can drink tea all day. ha ha. We start off there after getting off the ferry and get a cuppa, then have a wander around Tea Gardens, have lunch at the pub just down the road and then go back to the Lollie Shoppe for a rum and raisin ice cream.

@terryliv I agree Terry. Brilliant burgers in these little shops. I have only ever been in McDonalds twice and both times the food was disgusting. Never again.

@onewing I can beat that Babs. I have been into MacDonalds 6 times - twice in Hong Kong, twice in London, once in Sydney and once in Victoria, BC Canada. Why? To use their toilets of course. I have always thought that was a good use of MacDonalds. Ha Ha ha None of our kids are/were Maccas patrons either. Very proud of them. :-)

@onewing I should have also said that when I die, I want my headstone to say "Here lies the only person who has never eaten MacDonalds"

Looks like a good place for a meet up!!! Yummmy!

@terryliv ha ha, sounds like a good idea. The first time I went in Macca's was when we were travelling with my brother in law and believe it or not he loves Mcdonalds. ugh. The second time I had a blueberry muffin and a cup of tea, the muffin was okay but the tea was disgusting. never again.
