Street Art - Day 5 by onewing

Street Art - Day 5

This painting is on Maitland Road in Mayfield. It was painted by Lucy Lucy and Slicer.

Lucy Lucy is a street artist from Paris living in Melbourne for many years. She paints and pastes gorgeous females, loves fashion and fabrics, patterns and material. Lucy is part of the AWOL crew with Slicer, Adnate, Iitch and Deams and she has illustrated the children's book Nancy Wake: Fighting for Freedom.

Slicer is also a Melbourne based artist and his works are easily recognised by their thin lines which form his abstracted letter structures. Vivid colour, splats and splashes of paint are used to evoke movement and focal points throughout each piece.

Such a shame that there was a huge great truck parked in front of this painting, I will have to go back again and try and get another shot.
