Lunenburg 2017. This is Mike Zinck a dear friend of Louise and Ken who invited me to his fabulous house to have a lobster dinner. We all had an enormous lobster each and ate it hot dipped in melted butter!! Wow what an experience!! I had only ever tasted cold lobster tail and had not been impressed as I preferred crab which had more flavour. This however was a whole new taste experience and I was hooked!! I needed help in cracking the shell to get to the meat. Great fun at the table covered in newspaper to catch the drips of butter!!
Mike is such a lovely chap and his smile deserved to be in my month of smiles!!
When we were in Nova Scotia - they served lobster dripping in butter too! Here, it seems to be just natural and is called crayfish which may or may not be different!
Oh my word!! He looks happy and that looks dramatic! Can't go near shellfish - horribly allergic - but it does always look so very interesting like this.
Love this happy shot...I have never tasted lobster but imagine I would like it. Not sure about the cooking of it...perhaps that’s better overlooked but this looks a very happy memory! Wondering if I should paint our chairs bright & colourful like those. !
