They used to call these Slinkies I think but the girl in the shop looked at me blankly and then said "Oh you mean a Springy" - so even better for todays topic!! Its about the only "Springy" thing going on here!! LOL!!

Haha! I would've said slinky too! Was gonna use a rainbow coloured plastic one but couldn't quite get the shot I wanted :/ love this against the black - what did you use as a backdrop if you don't mind me asking?

In LR I then use the black slider to get a really good black. I took it into PS to get rid of any dust which is on the black board - it always needs cleaning up to look good.
@danette I am so pleased I was right with the name!! LOL!! Thanks Danette for your lovely comments!! This slinky is actually brassy coloured metal and feels lovely. I also bought a tiny one which is silver metal and a rainbow coloured large plastic one. It was a day for buying Slinkies!! I will be playing with them and hopefully using them in future shots!!
Yes I know it as a Slinky too. "Spring has sprung" in this shot, though! This is beautiful - looks almost abstract like a cross between a fractal and a hologram. Perfectly done.
Of course it's a slinky! Silly shop girl.
