Topic of the Day - Red Rose
(looks better large against the black I think)

I wish I could say that a tall dark handsome man rushed up to me and gave me a gorgeous bunch of red roses - but I can't!! LOL!! Yes I bought the bunch myself - they were so red and beautiful I couldn't resist them. I will carry on dreaming about the tall dark handsome man!!

I nearly bought a bunch of red roses today too, but like Darren I have trouble with red. This has inspired me to give it another go. Lovely shot.

@darrenboyj @jetpics Thank you so much for your lovely comments Darren and Janette. I took quite a few shots of this rose today - some with water droplets and some without. Most of the shots had to be discarded straight away. The only way I could get the red not to blow out was to focus on the rose and then draw the curtains. I was shooting at F/22. Finally I got the red I wanted.
