I wasn't feeling too good today and not up to much so instead of taking a new shot of my sister for today I decided to find an old shot of the two of us. After a trip down memory lane - why does it take ages when you start looking at old pics? - I found a few of the two of us and some of my favourite shots of Barbara - mostly taken on holidays. So this is a mosaic of my lovely "older" sister Barbara and me - some taken in Canada, some in Wales and the most recent in Derbyshire. Oh yes I definitely need to loose more weight!! LOL!! We both seem to have put on quite a bit over these last few years!! By the way these are some of the only photos of me as I am the one with the camera I often don't appear in photos!! LOL!!
My sister has just seen this mosaic and is horrified I have put so many pics of her up!! I have told her its just a collection of wonderful shared memories and that I am not taking it down!! LOL!!
You've had some wonderful times together! Having a sister seems to be very special. I have two wonderful brothers and sisters-in-law, but never a sister to grow up with. You show how wonderful those ties must be over a lifetime.
How lovely to have so many shots of your sister! I shall have to take a leaf out of your book, next time I get to spend with mine (in a few weeks time - can't wait).
@pixiemac That's what I told her Sarah!! Each shot has a funny story - it took me ages to do as i was going down memory lane!! Also in sorting these shots out there were lots of Barbara and her husband Jim as I was always taking shots of them both. Jim died two years ago very suddenly. I think I will do a similar collage for her of those shots. It will probably make her cry but it will make her laugh too as we has such fun times!! Photos are treasured memories!!
