Attempt number 3 for light trails. Getting the knack but still struggling to find a great place. This is standing on the footbridge which is at the top of Reigate Hill. The traffic has just come off the M25 down the hill towards Reigate. It was freezing cold so I didn't wait until it was completely dark!!
I am back from my weekend away which was lovely. Great to catch up with my friends.
I had some very sad news yesterday my neice Ruth who lives in Clovelly, Devon had a little girl Molly May but sadly she is Downs syndrome and there were difficulties with the birth. I heard this morning she is getting stronger and they are pleased with her progress. I live so far away and feel helpless!! It's hard when your family live at the other end of the country when they need you!!
That's a hard time for your niece Ruth and her family. I agree it's so difficult when you leave away from the family but that's often the case nowadays. Good light trails!
Hard times for you all to come to terms with such news -- but in time I am sure your niece & family will come to terms with this devastation & Molly May will am sure ,flourish in the love and care of her family
I think you are doing great with the light trails.
So sorry about the difficulties with Molly May's birth. I have a friend who has a little boy with Down syndrome and he is an absolute delight. Downs kids are so sweet natured. Hoping she will continue to get stronger.
That is very hard news indeed. So hard too when you are not near. Virtual hugs to you all.
Re light trails, I am hoping to get a crack at them this week in Atlanta. Your shot inspires me. I keep checking everyone's exif info so see what they did! Finding a good spot is the key. This one is quite nice!
This is very cool!! I have never tried this...guess I should stretch myself sometime. It would be hard to find a good spot for it... Nice job. Sorry about your bad news...worst part is like you said, being so far away.
