This is Course crystal sea salt. It was a shame I didn't have a blue reflector to make it look more like the melting sea. As always does look better large.
Many thanks for your great comments and Favs on my robin and seagull shots which got them both on the PP together which was fantastic!!
I am still struggling with my PC and I am getting further behind with comments on your shots. I am trying to do some each day but I have a backlog to look at. I will get there eventually!!
I had a tungsten light setting on my camera the other day which I had forgotten to change. I took some outdoor shots and couldn't understand why they looked so blue, it may be worth trying that for a blue effect.
@busylady I was going to change the WB to tungsten in LR but I only thought of it after I had taken it into PS and cloned out all the little marks and scratches on the black reflector!! Doh!! If I get time I might redo it. Thanks Judith!!
@salza Thanks Sally!! I have just re-edited the original shot and changed WB to tungsten but it did not make much difference. The black stayed black and the white stayed white. The reflection of the salt changed from brown to blue but it blended in with the black too much to make a difference. Not worth replacing the shot as I will loose all the comments so far. Interesting though as I imagined the black would go blue/blue-ish!!
Gorgeous, wonderful macro. Laughing at your exchange with Corrie - didn't think it but now I can see how it could be mistaken - of course I do not know what crystal meth looks like either. It is probably much bigger.
