Searched round my house for something colourful and found these drawing pins. The garden hasn't got much else to offer at the moment now I have done the tiny daffs and the snowdrop. No insects yet!! I can't wait for spring!!
Looks better large if you have time!!
Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterdays feather shot - very much appreciated!!
9th March - On PP!! Wow that means a lot to me as it seems to be harder to get on there now days even when you get lots of Favs!! Many thanks for your great comments and Favs!!
@lauramalone82 Many thanks for the lovely comments. The drawing pins are standing on my black plastic reflector board and as the camera is on the tripod just slightly above the pins the black is all the board. If I was doing somthing taller I would put a black card background at the back of the reflector board. You can make the black really black in LR and I always take these shots into PS and clone out any dust marks which are always there on the black plastic. Hope that makes sense Laura.
Wonderful 'POP' of color and great example of really effective use of narrow DoF! I really appreciate your taking the time to answer specific questions on setup, etc. Pam! Wonderful of you to share not only beautiful photos... but knowledge as well!
@sturnus@pixiemac Thank you so much Carol and Sarah your Favs are very much appreciated!! Whoopee just seen this has gone on the PP - Wow that seems to be a real achievement these days!!
This is really clever, Pam. I like the color and your POV. By the way, when I was photographing the robins yesterday, I kept thinking of your wonderful shots as my inspiration!
