We actually got on the beach today and had a lovely walk - Finlay ran round and round and loved the soft sand. He loved chasing any dog he saw. The sky finally cleared late afternoon and we sat in the garden in the warm sunshine .
This is the first time I have managed to get a signal and get on the internet all day!!
This is a fabulous black and white image Pam, great processing. I really like the composition and the textures in the foreground. Hope you don't mind me saying but could you darken the bright white in the middle at the top of the sky as my eye keeps getting drawn to it.
@elaine55 thanks Elaine! I will have to wait until I get home from holiday to do any editing as my laptop had died! I think it's the power cable and I am going to PC world in the morning to see if I can sort it out! Very frustrating!
Your b&w shots are wonderful, Pam. In this one, I particularly like the way you've used the sun's rays to add emphasis. I wonder if you cropped down from the top if that would help that blown out spot Rachel also commented on.
@taffy thanks Taffy I appreciate your comments! My laptop is out of action which has stopped me processing any more photos until I get home! Very frustrating! I will try the crop as you suggest when I am home and using my PC. I really must get a new laptop and it will be a Mac this time.
Finlay must get rather dirty racing around in these wet flats! Internet can be a real pain at times - it took me 1 and 1/2 hours to get on line today! Mind you, Im in Portugal
