This is Mark who was in charge of escourting my friend Rachel Baker round the building works for her photography project - see my other photo for today. He came out to chat with us and I took this shot without him knowing!! Very brave of me!! You can see part of the crescent in the background. It was a spa - Buxton is famous for its water and its supposedly healing qualities and many people went to Buxton for the "waters" and a cure - very similar to Bath. I thought Mark had a nice smile!!
Nice candid of a cheerful looking subject. N ice to see they are finally restoring the Crescent. I used to live for a short time not far from there in Tideswell.
