28th June Play me I'm yours

I was blown away by St Pancras Station and walked around looking at all the new shops and bars etc. I was like the country bumpkin coming up to London from the "Sticks"!! I was laughing at myself!! I kept hearing music and then realised it was a piano being played. It says on the side of the piano "Play me I'm yours" and people were just sitting down and playing. Amazing!! This woman had even brought her music with her!! It was a quick snap on my iphone and as I was trying to take it without them noticing I managed to blur the shot. I have processed it in PS and given it a watercolour filter. I just loved the fact that all these different people were just sitting down and playing. On my way home there was a chap playing who sounded like a concert pianist!! I love London - you see it all!!

If you love playing the piano like I do, it's very hard not to sit down and play anywhere you see a piano! I'm always doing it in hotels!

Fabulous candid Pam! They use to have a piano in the the grounds of the British Library which said the same thing, don't know if it is still there.

Wonderful phot, love that you secretly shot it. And I love, love, love the idea of people sitting down to play the piano spontaneously in public. What a great idea to have the piano there.

Thanks all for your lovely comments!! I just had to tell you this. My friends Steve's son works in London nd goes to St Pancras every day. Yesterday he heard someone playing one of the pianos and it was Brian May of Queen!! Imagine that for a free performance!!
