I went out this morning to try to get a shot of a red kite as I know they are often up near the land fill site. I did get some shots but the kites kept just a bit too far away even with my 100-400mm lens. I suddenly heard some calling much nearer me and there was a pair of buzzards flying back and forth. Still not as near as I would have liked but closer than the kites.
