This is the last of my orchids in flower at the moment. This one was a Christmas present about six years ago and the flowers go on and on!! It is an unusual colour I think and looks lovely on my north facing windowsill along with all the other orchids. They bring some welcome colour to the room!!
@judithdeacon I killed off quite a few orchids at the beginning - I killed them with kindness - too much watering and leaving them standing in water. Then I was at a garden centre one day and I watched the girl doing the watering and standing them in water for about half an hour then leaving them to drain. Since then I have been very successfull and have managed to keep some of my orchids for years now.
