I bought some more mealworms today to thank my little robin for taking me to the TT!! I had emptied the bag into the feeder and had just got back indoors when he came down to investigate. Once again this shot is taken through my lounge window and Finlay was inside barking at the robin!!
This is the final robin shot - promise!!
Uploaded for my Extras album.
So pleased to see my lovely robin on th PP again!! Many thanks for all your great comments and Favs which got him there!! He is getting to be a regular visiter to my garden now and my second favourite subject to photograph!!
Your robin shots are incredibly detailed and clear. This one is great! And I can't remember if I've congratulated you yet or now, but great to see you on TT!
firstly.......FAV...........another stunner
second..........you must have really clean windows
and finally (LOL!) think the 5d II must make the difference as the focus is truly AWESOME, were you using a tripod?
@pixiemac
1) Thank you so much for the Fav Sarah!!
2)The window cleaner came last week but I am laughing because the sun shone today and you can see how dirty the INSIDE of my windows is - I really must clean them.
3) I think the focus was the same with my 40D. This was hand held sitting on my sofa in my lounge. The 5D 11 (Full frame) does allow you to crop in without loosing any quality in the shot and in LR even using a very high ISO I can get rid of any noise.
Thanks again!!
