This is Badger my nephew Colin's dog who is quite old (a rescue dog so not sure of his age) and getting quite frail. We are looking after him while Colin and the family are on holiday. He is lovely and Finlay loves to try to play with him but he is now old and grumpy and keeps telling Finlay off.
We are having problems at night as Colin normally carries Badger up the stairs to bed. This is impossible for my sister and me to do - both our backs are dodgy!! We are trying to tempt him up but last night he just would not budge. We left him downstairs but he just kept walking around scratching the doors and of course Finlay can hear any little sound and starts barking. We are not getting much sleep - hurry back from your hols Colin!!
Poor darling Badger - I just want to give him a hug! Has he got a favourite toy? Sometimes helps if you restrict his territory somehow and with a toy and a cuddle blanket will feel safe!
Oh poor old fellow - he certainly has an appropriate name. My daughter had a dog called Badger and I often wonder where he is now as she had to give him away as they live in a small house and their family grew too big to have a big dog as well. Lovely shot
Oh, he's gorgeous, bless his heart. My old Sheba is 16, almost blind, almost deaf and definitely unreliable in the plumbing department. But she's a dearly loved member of the family.
