Well I didn't manage to see a moose in Newfoundland and so far I haven't seen either a deer or a racoon in Nova Scotia so this is my wildlife shot for today!! Who can complain about this? What a gorgeous cat we saw on our drive around town this afternoon.
Not that was a beauty who lives "across town" from me and hasn't crossed my doorstep! What a sensational hunk of gorgeous cat! You got the best photo, Pam, as I got the side profile before he dashed away! Weren't we lucky?
I had to laugh..... Great shot for the local wildlife too...... But.... We spent about five weeks in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, and we -- also -- never saw a moose or a deer or a raccoon..... So don't feel alone. We accused some native Newfoundlanders of making up the entire story about their moose with all the signs warning people to drive carefully because of moose/car accidents.
