This is James , who was working alongside my portrait number 3 (Scott) at the Macron Stadium, Bolton.
Scott and James are turnstile stewards, their role was to direct away supporters from Wolverhampton to their entrances / turnstiles.
James was the more hesitant of the two, but agreed to have his shot took once I had shot Scott.
Both are students working part time at Bolton Wanderers on matchdays.
James was good at his job, he was directing the Wolverhampton Wanderers fans as I was taking my shots.
Scott and James are the friendly face of Bolton Wanderers.
A free ticket for the match after finishing their duties is an added bonus.
I shook the hands of Scott and James and thanked them for the shots.
I will print shots 3 and 4 and give them to Scott and James at the next match
Oh and the Wanderers in the White jerseys (Bolton) won the game 2-1. A great result for me :)
Shot with my 50mm lend on my old Canon 450D (which I use for my streetie portraits). Edited in Rawtherapee a superb piece of Open Source Software
This picture is number 4 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
I remember Wolves had much better days. I don't follow British soccer but I remember them as one of the top British teams. Are they in the doldrums like Bolton? Glad your team won. Love your portrait shot - I always do.
@sangwann Wolves and Bolton were once the two top teams in the country dione, both are now indeed in the doldrums. Thanks for your positive comments on my portrait shots
