This is more a twitchell / short cut than a back street.
We walk dow this twitchell when we go to my daughters.
Ruby likes to sniff the bushes on the left and a big noisy dog barks at her on the garden on the right hand side !!! Although no barking when this 'shot was shot'....'shot was shot'...awful English ...'shot was taken / took' perhaps
Selective colouring on the postman at the bottom of the twitchell to add a bit of interest........well red always works well in selective colouring
A twitchell ...I have never heard of a twitchell & your name for a weind !!! Love all these local words ! Wonderful SC & the postman is a great subject !!
How you doing this Monday? A bit sad I would think.....what an amazing afternoon to end the season. Your sadness can only be matched by my other half who is a Utd fan :-( Love this photo with the selective postman....never heard of your local terms either.
@Cherrill thanks cherrill , well what can i say about the football, it's been an awful year for the Wanderers...it started with our 5-0 defeat at Wembley by Stoke and ended yesterday at Stoke...the bit in between well it's best forgot, I resigned myself to relegation about November time !
@sparkle thanks Juliette, your comments and support are well received, the football, when yes I have had footblll blues today.........I've had them all season really !
Selective coloring always works with red. First time I have heard the word twitchell. I will now be using this when I speak of alleys or back street. Wonderful!
