Between The Trees

A lone man walks the tree line path in Vernon Park, Basford, Nottingham

Spotted on my lunchtime walk in Nottingham

Note the terraced houses backing onto the Park.

The park is bordered on three sides by housing and factories and one side by the River Leen and an industrial estate.

A truly urban park in the inner city of Nottingham

Edited in GIMP with a crop on the left hand side to use the tree as a natural stopper / frame on the left hand side of the picture.

That sky is a bland grey winter sky , but the sun is trying to peek out as can be seen with a little bit of a warm glow on the rooftops

The warm glow on the chimneys single them out - I wonder if they are all working chimneys! This person has no socks on - thought it was cold over there!

The perspective is great Phil and super composition. FB (Face Book) Politics = big Presidential election coming up, gun control, and some cowboys (in our state) who are holding some federal land hostage... many opinions and viewpoints get argued on social media. Some strong opinions on all of these issues. I try to avoid it...but get reeled in more often then I should. LOL!!!

Great framing and composition. I like the tension created by the triangle of the trees toward which the man is headed, the man himself and the tree in the background between them.
