Rough Trade

This is Rough Trade, Nottingham an independent music store and live music venue. It is set in an old 3 storey, Victorian Building on Broad Street, Nottingham . I decided to take a photo of it and gestured to the lady sat outside, that I was taking a picture. She said "Shall I move" and I said "No, you look cool sat there"

So I shot a few images and waved in acknowledgement. As I walked away I felt a tap on my shoulder "May I have a look at them"

I showed the lady the photos and said I could email them to her. I then decided she would make a great stranger and asked her If I could do a portrait style shot.

Sonia, said "Yes" and will be my next stranger, alongside her partner

What a find! The dark grey building makes a beautiful frame to the colourful scene. Glad the lady allowed you to take the shot with her sitting there. Looking forward to her portrait.
