Yesterday morning we went into Arnold first thing for some shopping, Elsie came with us and when Jane nipped into ASDA I took Elsie home.
If she's not snuggling a human on the sofa, she likes to sit on a pouffe by the front window / radiator and keep an eye on the street and watch for one of her humans returning.
While she was sat there I called her name out and rattled a few shots with my Xperia 1V mobile phone using the 85mm to 135mm optical zoom lens. As you can see it takes superb portraits, the all black background is the black screen of our Sony OLED TV. As you have no doubt guessed I am a Sony fan, I have two mirrorless Sony camera bodies and a Sony RX100VII pocket camera.
Just how good is the camera phone? Light is coming in from the right hand side of the frame, casting Elsie's right hand side into the shade . Photo edited on the phone too , a crop and a few little tweak of shadows / highlights . She has a tiny bit of 'sleep' in her eye that I should have wiped away !
Fab portrait, Phil! I would have had a Sony phone to add to my line-up of Sony cameras but not a clue with mobiles so I bought an iPhone so Ray could help me with it!!
I use a Canon camera but I like Sony too :-)
