Easter Egg Bike Run

Today's Nottingham Easter Egg Bike Run as the bikes (nearly 800) makes it's way through Sherwood.

For those of you unfamiliar with the bike run, hundreds of bikers from the biker community ride from the Forest Recreation Ground to deliver Easter Eggs to Mansfield Fire Station.

@corinnec Coriine , I was sat in the middle of the road , on a traffic light / pedestrian crossing , the bikes whizzed past me

@philippar Philippa , I did a risk assessment before sitting / kneeling down on the pedestrian refuge . They did whizz by rather quickly and I returned to the pavement after a few minutes !

Impressive shot. They make an amazing snake shape as they drive together along the road. Something similar takes place on one of the feasts of The Holy Virgin in Summer and we stop to watch them while they drive by after a big picture of Our Lady carried on a motor van.
