Continuing on from @photobird project, another shot of my back garden, one month on from the last one.
I've changed from where the photograph is taken, far too much lawn visible from my previous standpoint; the focus is still the border.
The colour is coming; the Dahlias (last year's that I didn't lift and the new ones I bought as I thought last year's would all die) are growing and many have flower heads now. The poppies, delphiniums, foxgloves, alliums, Lupins, Valerians are all in bloom now

Just as beautiful as I knew it would be! I love seasons for this very reason. You wouldn't appreciate this beauty if you lived in Hawaii and it looked like this all year!
Nice! The joy of English gardens is how things change with the seasons. There's a lot of work gone in to that, that's why I prefer visiting gardens rather than actual gardening.
